Ramona was found sitting on a picnic table near the shelter at Clear Creek Metro Park. There are absolutely no houses near here, so the only explanation is that she was dumped. She ran up to her new foster mother when she arrived looking for food and attention. She is extremely skinny and will need to gain some weight back. She LOVES attention and having her head scratched (check out picture) and would make a wonderful house cat or barn cat. She is extremely sweet. Very quiet. Good litter box habits. She would probably be a permanent fixture on your couch. She deserves better than to be thrown out like a piece of trash. Update: Ramona has gained lots of weight and enjoys spending her days curled up on the bed or sunning her self outside when it is warm. She enjoys a quite home and would make an older person or single person an great cat!
She has been vet and the vet estimated her between 7 and 8 years of age.. Hard to tell though since she is severally underweight. Other than that, vet said she looked good. In fact, he said that she is already fixed. She is an extremely easy keeper. She has had her first round of shots, wormed, and preventative tick/flea treatment (over $100 value). She tested negative for feline leukemia and AIDS. Her foster mother can not keep her and must find a home very soon.
